Dr. Mary Disa Allen is a native of Christiansburg, VA and is excited to have returned to Southwest Virginia to raise a family and provide dental care to the community. She attended the College of William and Mary, where she double majored in chemistry and music, and continued on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 2012.
After dental school, Dr. Allen completed a General Practice Residency at the Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. There, she worked alongside dentists and specialists receiving advanced training in treating medically compromised patients, oral surgery, implant restorations, endodontics, restorative dentistry and dental sleep medicine.
Although she loves fixing teeth and brightening smiles, what she loves most about dentistry is the relationship she builds with her patients. She strives to make her patients feel relaxed and comfortable while delivering pain-free dental care.
Dr. Allen and her family are glad to be back in the Blue Ridge Mountains and have lived in the Roanoke area since 2014. She is married, has two sons and a super sweet dog. When she isn’t providing dental care, Dr. Allen loves to be outdoors with her family hiking, jogging, camping or just relaxing fireside. She continues to regularly volunteer at the Bradley Free Clinic and is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Virginia Dental Association, and the Roanoke Valley Dental Society.
